Who are we?

Hello! I am Madeline and I am a clinical intern working towards my Master’s degree in Social Work. My background includes experience working with children and families and advocating for their best interest. My goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment to provide support and healing. I am passionate about helping children ages 10+ and those growing into their early adulthood. My clinical interests include working with those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, and life transitions. I strive to utilize a holistic approach and focus on yourself as a whole and provide you with the skills and connection to guide yourself through the journey of life.

Peak Therapy Services got its name from Amber’s love of the mountains. Amber was raised in Montana, and most of her family still lives there. Mountains symbolize mental health to her - life will have its ups and downs; peaks and valleys; the climb is hard, but the end result is worth it all.

Hi, I’m Amber.

I’m happy you’re here! Finding a therapist that is a good fit is so important for a successful therapy experience. I understand the hardest part can be reaching out for help, or feeling as if you are starting over with telling your story. I am here to meet you where you’re at. The first session typically involves a Diagnostic Assessment (DA) which is required by insurance (once a year) - that is a fancy way to say I will ask you a lot of general questions about you and your mental health history. After that, we will gain rapport and trust so you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences with me. I frequently check-in during session to see if you are outside of your window of tolerance, and if you are, we will scale things back. I am a client-centered therapist, and I know you are the professional of yourself. I am here to help you navigate the peaks and valleys of your life!
